Mrs Matsotso Vuso CA(SA), CD(SA), RA

Managing Director | Board member

Matsotso Vuso is the Managing Director of Nyamezela Group of Companies with over 26 years of experience and expertise within Metering, financial management, business advisory services, project management, corporate finance, consulting engineering services and contracting.

Matsotso Vuso qualified as a CA(SA) in 1999 and as a Chartered Director in 2020 with extensive experience in Audit (financial & IT), financial due diligence and financial restructurings.  Matsotso was also responsible for major IT Audit assignments in the Aviation, Telecommunications, Manufacturing and Motoring sectors with extensive DFI experience gained through her long association with the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC).

Matsotso Vuso served on boards of various listed and state-owned entities as a non-executive director and currently as a director of MHI Power ZAF (Pty) Ltd., Kagosano NPC, Foskor (Pty) Ltd., Merafe Resources Limited and SAEEC (South African Electrotechnical Export Council), and as Deputy Chairperson of SA Metering Association.

Mr Chris Vuso

Technical Director | Board member

Chris is a civil engineer with extensive experience in road construction, water sanitation, SAP implementation and land and rights. His experience was gained through his association with Eskom Capital Expansion Division, where he was responsible for building power lines and substations, expansion planning of networks, budgeting and project management of civil projects. Chris also worked at Eskom’s land and rights division where he was responsible for negotiating with land owners for power line servitudes and was also involved in the roll out of their SAP R3 project and the setup of the human resources shared service centre. Prior to joining Eskom, Chris worked for Raphael & Mongwe Civil Engineering Consultants, where he was a Resident Engineer, mainly involved in improving the areas where there was great need for facilities. Chris started his career with the Council of Scientist and Industrial Research (CSIR) as a Junior Engineer in the Water Technology department in 1995.

Mr Fusi Motaung

Corporate Services Manager | Executive Member

Fusi Motaung joined Nyamezela Group as Corporate Services Manager in September 2018. He is a qualified HR practitioner and post-graduate Alumni. He brings over 12 years human resources management and transformation experience from various industries including consulting, public sector and mining industries.

Fusi Motaung joins Nyamezela Group to lead the corporate services unit consisting of human resources, administration, security, information technology, facilities and outsource services. His role is to further lead the people contribution and excellence strategy for the Group, ensuring alignment to business strategy in areas of Broad-based Economic Empowerment, job designs, performance management, learning and development, employee recognition and remuneration, employee wellness and other key elements.

Miss Thandekile Zikalala

Acting Financial Manager

Thandekile holds a BCompt degree, a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting Sciences (CTA1), a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Accounting Sciences (CTA2) from the University of South Africa, and has passed the SAICA Initial Test of Competency (ITC). She completed her audit articles in 2015 and is also a member of Associate General Accountants (SA)

Before joining Nyamezela, Thandekile was employed as an external auditor at SM Xulu Incorporated and have gained extensive experience in auditing both public and private sector companies. At Nyamezela, Thandekile was a Financial Accountant for more than 2 years responsible for running the accounting and financial activities of the group before she was promoted to act as a Financial Manager responsible for the management of the finance department and supporting all other departments.
